LOS ANGELES, May 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Redwood Scientific Technologies, Inc (RST) announces that is has started the beginning stages of bringing antibiotics to market in the successful oral thin film method.
It will be the first RST products that is not over the counter and will require a prescription. The first antibiotic will be Azithromycin. The company has stated they have already started the FDA process and is in its initial testing. RST has achieved the same successful results in combining the active ingredient into the OTF strip verses the tablet form. RST also believes that it could have products on the shelf in pharmacies by the third quarter of 2019. This will be the first of several prescriptions based applications to be developed by the world leader in OTF medication.
